Hello, I’m Lili.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many countries and make friends from different corners of the world.

Along the way, I discovered something surprising: many of my friends had never heard of my hometown—Yunnan.

Some knew Beijing or Shanghai, but not the land of snow-capped mountains, ancient towns, tropical forests, peaceful lakes, and extraordinary cultural diversity that I call home.

Yunnan is a place where every journey feels different. You can watch the sunrise over the mountains, walk through centuries-old villages, taste food you won’t find anywhere else, and meet people from many different ethnic communities—all within one province.

I created this website to introduce the beauty of Yunnan to more people, especially international travelers who may be discovering it for the first time.

This is not just a travel guide. It is a personal invitation to explore my hometown through its landscapes, cultures, food, stories, and everyday life.
